Local Tastes of Nashville is a walking food tour with a taste of history. We tour in two popular and unique neighborhoods in Nashville- historic Germantown and the hipster Gulch District. Germantown was Nashville's first neighborhood, and the area is now in the peak of redevelopment. Here's what you can expect on our fun, educational, and delicious food tour: Start at the Farmers’ Market, stroll through Bicentennial Capitol Mall and historic Germantown, savor foods from five neighborhood restaurants and specialty shops, see sights and get an interesting "taste" of history. On the Gulch tour you will start out with an appetizer at the beautiful historic Union Station as you learn the history of the Gulch District in Nashville . And then stroll down into the hipster Gulch District to visit 4 other popular and award winning restaurants. You will learn the interesting stories behind the restaurants and the owners.
